2nd Grade
Our 2nd Graders can now identify and read a pentatonic scale- Do, Re, Mi, So, La as well as half notes/rests! We have recently learned many songs that include these new rhythm and pitch ideas and each class chose one to continue analyzing. "Here Comes a Bluebird" is a favorite! Below you can see students analyzing the rhythm and pitch and practicing a xylophone part to accompany the song.
